Danny Learns D Story

In a deep, dark forest, lived a deer so sweet,
Named Danny, curious, from head to feet.
He loved to explore, to learn and play,
And one fine day, his teacher said, “Hooray!
We’ll learn the letter D, a letter new,
So let’s begin, there’s lots to do!”

Mrs. Owl drew a D, so big and round,
“It’s for a deer,” she said, a joyful sound.
Danny smiled, his name began with D, “A deer,”
he thought, “just like me, you see.”

Then Mrs. Owl drew a dog, so furry and sweet,
“Another D,” she said, a perfect treat.
Danny liked dogs, though not as much as deer,
But he was happy to learn something new, it’s clear.

A drum was next, a beat so strong and loud,
“A D for drum,” Mrs. Owl said, proud.
Danny had never seen one, it looked so fun,
To play a drum, a happy one.

A duck was last, with a quack so loud and clear,
“A D for duck,” Mrs. Owl said, with cheer.
Danny thought ducks were funny, with their webbed feet,
A silly bird, a funny treat.

Now Danny knew, so many words with D,
From deer and dogs, to drums and ducks, you see.
He thought of more, his dad named David, too,
And Daisy, his friend, so sweet and true.

Mrs. Owl was pleased, so proud of Danny’s might,
“You’re very smart,” she said with all her might.
Danny was happy, his heart filled with glee,
He’d work so hard, a great student, he’d be.

Next day, a worksheet, with pictures bright and clear,
Danny had to write a D, without any fear.
He worked so hard, each answer, oh so right,
Mrs. Owl was thrilled, a shining gold star in sight.

Danny was overjoyed, his goal was met with cheer,
He’d learned the letter D, without any fear.
He couldn’t wait to learn more letters, it was true,
With Mrs. Owl, his teacher, kind and new.

As Danny walked home, a dandelion he did see,
He picked it up and made a wish, wild and free.
He wished to learn all letters, a good student to be,
The dandelion flew away, on the wind so free.

Throughout the week, Danny learned more and more,
Of dolphins and donkeys, a wonderful store.
Donuts and dates, he learned to say,
The letter D, he knew so well, each day.

An expert he became, on D, it was clear,
He wrote it perfectly, without any fear.
Mrs. Owl was proud, a great student, he’d be,
A future bright, for Danny, you see.

A spelling bee was coming, a test of might,
Danny was nervous, but he studied with all his might.
His turn to spell, “dinosaur,” Mrs. Owl did say,
Danny spelled it perfectly, a cheer did erupt that day.

So happy was Danny, his hard work paid off,
He’d learned the letter D, and that was enough.
A good student he was, proud and true,
With Mrs. Owl, he’d learn letters, brand new.
