Alice in Wonderland

Join Alice and her curious kitten, Dinah, on a magical adventure where white rabbits lead to wonderland!
Alice in Wonderland Story
On a hot summer day, Alice and her adorable kitten, Dinah, were perched on a tree branch. Beneath the tree, Alice’s sister was reading aloud from a history book. However, Alice wasn’t paying attention; she was lost in a dream, imagining a world where rabbits wore clothes and lived in little houses.
Suddenly, Alice and Dinah descended from the tree. As they did, they spotted a white rabbit scurrying away, clutching a large pocket watch in its paws.

“I’m late!”
Alice exclaimed in shock. “How peculiar! What could a rabbit possibly be late for?”
Then, she shouted after it, “Please wait! I’ll come with you too!”

However, the rabbit paid no heed. It continued on its way, repeating loudly, “I’m late! I’m late!” before vanishing into a large hole at the base of the tree.

Alice, her curiosity piqued, followed the rabbit into the narrow hole. With some effort, she squeezed through and began crawling along the tunnel on her hands and knees. Suddenly, she felt as though she were plummeting from a great height.
She fell and fell, but fortunately, her clothes billowed out like a parachute, breaking her fall. She floated gently through the tunnel, carried along by the air current.

On the tunnel walls, strange paintings adorned the surface. The furniture within was equally peculiar. Finally, Alice reached the tunnel’s end, where the white rabbit stood at the end of a long corridor. A tall man, previously hidden in the corner, disappeared once more. Alice shouted,
“Stop!” and chased after him.
At the end of the long, narrow corridor, a tiny door appeared. Alice shook the handle, and a voice emerged, “Hey!”
The voice came from the door handle itself. Alice pleaded, “I’m looking for the white rabbit. Please let me in.”
The handle replied, “I’m sorry, you’re too big. Drink some of that bottle.”
Alice scanned the surroundings and found a bottle labeled “Drink Me.”
She cautiously tasted a few drops and then, emboldened, drank the entire contents. As she did, Alice began to shrink, becoming small enough to slip through the tiny door.

On the other side of the door, Alice found herself at the edge of a vast forest. In the distance, she spotted the white rabbit and immediately set off in pursuit.
However, before she could go far, two identical, plump, dwarf-like men appeared before her. Their names were similar, as was Alice’s. “Which way did the white rabbit go?”
Alice inquired. The two dwarves began speaking simultaneously, their words blending into an incomprehensible cacophony. Frustrated, Alice decided to choose a different path and continue her journey.

Alice soon arrived at a small house. As she approached, she saw the white rabbit emerging from the front door. It was wearing a new dress with a pleated collar. Once again, the rabbit exclaimed,
“Oh dear! I’m late! I’m late!” Then, turning to Alice, it said, “Go and fetch my gloves.”

Alice was very excited because the rabbit had talked to her and immediately went inside the house.
Alice searched high and low for the rabbit’s gloves, but instead, she found a glass containing some biscuits. They looked quite appetizing, so she took one and ate it.
Immediately, she began to grow, larger and larger until she was taller than the house itself. Her hands were as big as windows! Alice thought to herself,
“Perhaps if I find something else to eat, I can shrink back down to normal size.”

She stretched her arms as far as she could and plucked a carrot from the garden. As she ate it, Alice began to shrink once more. Soon, she was small enough to fit through the front door.
The rabbit was overjoyed to see that the giant had vanished and immediately dashed towards the bottom of the garden. Alice followed suit, but now, as she was so tiny, the grass seemed like a vast forest. She stumbled and fell asleep, lulled by a strange sound.
A voice asked, “Alice, how are you?” Looking closer, Alice saw a worm resting beneath a mushroom. She replied, “I’m Alice, and I wish I could grow taller.”

The worm, transforming into a beautiful butterfly, said, “I can help!”
It pointed to a mushroom and explained, “One side of this mushroom will make you taller, and the other side will make you shorter.” With that, the butterfly fluttered away.
Alice approached the mushroom and examined it carefully. She pondered which side would make her taller but couldn’t decide. Finally, she took a piece from both sides and ate one. Fortunately, she had chosen the correct piece, and soon she was back to her normal size.
She pocketed the other piece of mushroom and wandered around when she heard a voice. Turning towards the sound, she saw a smiling mouth with teeth and a pair of eyes. Alice looked more closely.

A strange cat with orange stripes appeared before her. Alice asked, “I’m looking for the white rabbit. Which way should I go?”
The cat replied, “I’m the Cheshire Cat. If I were looking for a white rabbit, I’d ask the Mad Hatter and the March Hare over there.”

The cat pointed to a path winding through the forest and then vanished. Alice followed the path and soon heard the singing of the Mad Hatter and the March Hare. They were having a tea party at a lavishly set table.
“We’re having a non-birthday party,” the Mad Hatter explained. “We only have a birthday party once a year, so we have a non-birthday party for the other 364 days.”
The March Hare asked Alice where she came from, and she began to explain, “It all started when my cat, Dinah, and I were sitting on a tree branch…”

Suddenly, a shrill cry was heard, “Oh, a cat!” A tiny mouse jumped out of a teacup and scurried around the table. The Mad Hatter shouted, “Take it!”
Just then, the White Rabbit reappeared, exclaiming, “Oh dear! I’m late!” and vanished once more. Alice shouted, “Wait!” and jumped up from the table, chasing after him.
Tired of the strange occurrences in Wonderland, Alice thought to herself, “I must go home!”
But the Cheshire Cat appeared and said, “You can’t go home without meeting the Queen.”
As soon as he finished speaking, a door opened in a nearby tree. Alice stepped through and found herself in the garden of a grand palace.
To her astonishment, she saw two playing cards painting white roses red. They explained that the Queen of Hearts had demanded red roses, so they were hastily repainting the white ones to avoid the Queen’s wrath.

The grand palace doors swung open, and the White Rabbit emerged, announcing a royal procession. The Queen of Hearts and the King approached a rose bush and demanded, in a stern voice, “Who has dared to paint my roses red? Off with their head!”
The Queen’s gaze fell upon Alice, who trembled with fear. “I’m looking for the way home,”
she stammered. The Queen retorted, “The way home? All the roads here belong to me!”
However, she quickly changed her mind and asked, “Would you like to play croquet?” Alice, eager to escape, agreed.
Alice had never seen such a bizarre game of croquet. The balls were hedgehogs, the mallets were flamingos, and the Queen’s temper was as unpredictable as the weather. As the Queen swung her flamingo, the Cheshire Cat materialized, distracting the bird. The Queen lost her balance and toppled over.
“Off with her head!” she screamed at Alice.
Everyone was summoned to court, including Alice. The Queen sat in judgment, and the White Rabbit accused Alice of cheating at croquet.
The Queen declared, “It doesn’t matter! She’s a criminal. Off with her head!”
The King intervened, “Can we call some witnesses?”
The Queen reluctantly agreed. The March Hare, the Mad Hatter, and the Dormouse testified, followed by the Cheshire Cat. As the chaos unfolded, a mouse scurried across the courtroom, causing a panic. Alice, remembering the mushroom, ate a piece and began to grow rapidly.
“I’m not afraid of you,” she declared to the Queen, “You’re just a grumpy old woman!” As quickly as she had grown, Alice shrank back to her normal size. The Queen, baffled, could only watch as Alice fled the courtroom.

Soon, Alice was lost in the winding hedges. She could no longer hear the Queen’s voice, though it seemed to echo faintly in the distance, like a dream. Suddenly, she heard someone calling,
“Alice, Alice, wake up!”
It was her sister. “You’ve been asleep for ages,” she said. “Do you remember anything from the history lesson?”
Alice rubbed her eyes. Dinah, curled up beneath her skirt, was fast asleep. “You won’t believe it,” Alice said. “There was a white rabbit, and I followed him…”
Her sister interrupted, “Well, forget about it. We need to go home. It’s time for tea and dinner.”

“Dinah, could all of that have really happened? Or am I back in the real world?”
